New Zealand Disability Employers’ Network
New Zealand Disability Employers’ Network (NZDEN) is a collective of employers committed to improving disability inclusion and accessibility practices in their own organisations and across Aotearoa. NZDN runs conferences, hui (meetings), and mentorship programmes to support members to be more disability inclusive.
Accessibility Tick
The Accessibility Tick is NZDEN’s flagship programme. It is designed to help organisations to become more disability inclusive employers and accessible for disabled people.
An employer signs up for the Accessibility Tick programme, NZDEN does an in-depth assessment of the organisation’s accessibility and then supports the organisation to improve disability inclusion NZDEN awards the Accessibility Tick when a member organisation demonstrates a commitment to, and takes tangible steps towards, becoming more accessible and inclusive.
Some organisations that hold the Accessibility Tick include Westpac, Woolworths, and Air New Zealand
