When you’re submitting an event listing, be sure to include any accessibility features (e.g. wheelchair access, New Zealand Sign Language interpreters, audio descriptions) so we can highlight them. That way people in our community know you’ve got their needs covered.
If you're planning an event, check out our tips for making it accessible. Holding an accessible event ensures that all people are able to take part regardless of their accessibility needs. It gives your event a wider appeal and shows disabled people that they have a place there. With one in six New Zealanders reported as being part of our disability community, it makes sense not to make them miss out!
