Kawepūrongo News

Read our latest news and articles.

Here you will find the latest news from the New Zealand disability sector and community.

We know that official announcements related to health and disability can sometimes be tricky to fully understand, so here we try to break down any big news that impacts our disability community. We like to use simple, plain language, so anyone can follow without having to ask Google what something means.

We also share opportunities for our disabled community to have their say in community consultations, whether it be consultations on government decisions, feedback for different disability organisations, or anything in between. The important thing is that our disabled community has its voice heard.

We are always looking to tell more stories about the awesome people doing awesome things in our disability community, so if you have an idea, please let us know. That could be anything from a disability service provider doing an amazing job for its clients, or someone in our disabled community who has accomplished something incredible.
