    Conductive Education Wellington Trust

Conductive Education Wellington Trust is unique in that it’s an early childhood centre which was created to provide both Conductive Education and Early Childhood Education to children with motor disorders and developmental delay up 6 years of age.

This Charitable Trust delivers an educational programme based on the principles of both Conductive Education and Te Whaariki.

Their team treat neuro-motor disorders as a learning challenge rather than a medical problem. This mana-enhancing approach promotes independence and supporting children to reach their potential.

These disorders could be inherited or acquired and include:

    • Varying forms of Infantile Cerebral Palsy (ICP).

    • Infatile Spasms

    • West Syndrome

    • Down’s Syndrome

    • Spina Bifida

    • Perceptual disorders.

    • Muscular hypotonia syndrome.

    • Autism if the child has motor issues and/or developmentally delayed

    • ADHD
