The pilot will fund disabled-led ideas that support communities to live well between extreme weather events, not just respond to emergencies. Learn what adaptation can look like and how disabled leadership informs local solutions.

Learn what adaptation can look like, how it protects places we value, and how disabled leadership is shaping local solutions, including: not building or placing people, homes, taonga or community spaces in areas likely to flood or erode. Also: reducing erosion, using nature-based solutions, improving drainage, and guiding water safely.

A total of $150,000 is available for disabled-led climate adaptation projects, placing lived experience at the centre of decision-making.
