Waikato Big Day Out

Get involved in adaptive games and activities on the field. The main part of the day is the walk, run, roll relay around the 400m track.

Get a team together, come as an organisation, whānau or by yourself. We will have adaptive activities from organisations including:

• Parafed Waikato

• Special Olympics

• Blind Low Vision

• WaiBOP Football

• Waikato Badminton

• Hamilton Blind Bowls

• Recreate

• Ride your Trike

• Expression Through Creativity Charitable Trust.

We are also fortunate to have Paralympics NZ sharing their kaupapa, Hamilton City Council support with parking, Sport Waikato sharing their Positive Vibes Only message and Rapid Relief keeping our energy up with their amazing sausage sizzle.

Bring a tent/sun umbrella, chair or blanket and spend the day relaxing or being active. It will be a great way to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities .
