Show Your Ability 2026 - Palmerston North

Show Your Ability visits five venues annually, in Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Christchurch and Dunedin; and showcases an average of over 80 exhibitors to over 2000 visitors each year.

The expo is popular with disabled people and their whānau, as well as healthcare professionals including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, caregivers, district nurses, needs assessors and ACC case managers.

Show Your Ability features a range of service provider organisations, alongside disability equipment and information suppliers.

The Enable New Zealand team will be there, talking about the services they provide including Firstport.

What to expect at Show Your Ability

Show Your Ability is a trade show which can be busy at different times of the day. The organisers ensure the venues have additional dedicated disability parking, plenty of space for wheelchairs, powerchairs, service dogs, and other mobility equipment.

All venues have cafes on site, and public transport is available close by.

As a trade show, Show Your Ability can be noisy and while the organisers ask venues to avoid loud works/construction during the expo opening hours, this is not guaranteed. If you do have sensory needs, please contact the organises and they will see what they can do to support your experience at Show Your Ability.
