Produced locally in Aotearoa by Matewa Media, Coco Reo Māori brings Disney's beloved film to the big screen in a te reo Māori adaptation that celebrates our language, culture, and whānau connections.

Directed and produced by Tweedie Waititi, Chelsea Winstanley, and Mia Henry-Teirney, with music direction by Rob Ruha and Pere Wihongi, this version draws on the unique Te Reo o Te Tai Rāwhiti dialect, bringing fresh depth to the story. Coco Reo Māori beautifully highlights the significance of whakapapa, matriarchal strength, and the spiritual world, bringing these values into Te Ao Māori.

Grab your blankets, your favourite movie treats, and enjoy complimentary popcorn as we gather to experience Coco in a whole new way.
