Through developing self-awareness and self-compassion, participants will recognise patterns that may not be helpful and build confidence to change.

This workshop creates space to reflect, reconnect with your own needs, and understand why putting yourself first is not selfish — it’s essential for both you and your family.

Event highlights:

  • Develop a language to better understand and connect with your thoughts and emotions

  • Recognise and break repeating patterns that leave you feeling stuck

  • Learn simple, practical tools to support your wellbeing in everyday life

  • Reconnect with your own needs — without guilt or judgement

  • Share experiences and build support with others who truly understand

This workshop is presented by Natalija Isailovic, a counsellor with a background in special education and a strong passion for supporting parental emotional and psychological wellbeing.

Register by emailing admin@disabilityconnect.org.nz.

This is a free event for people with disabilities and their whanau. A charge of $50.00 will apply for any disability sector professionals attending.
