Drop-in Touch and Braile

10am – 3pm | Te Whare Waka
Drop in and explore texture at this hands-on experience designed for blind and low vision visitors, and anyone curious about tactile learning.

NZSL Tour

11:30am – 12:30pm | Meet in foyer
Take part in a New Zealand Sign Language interpreted tour of key highlights in our galleries. Explore some of our permanent pieces such as Tongue of the Dog, Keriana, Te Mauri o te Iwi, and Te Winika.

Relaxed Session at Air Playground

12:30pm – 2pm | Air Playground Exhibition
This session is designed for our neurodiverse community. The team will reduce loud sounds, offer ear plugs, and provide a quiet breakout space. Experience Air Playground in a way that works for you.

Audio Described Tour + Tea

1.30pm–2.30pm | Permanent Galleries
Explore the stories behind our permanent highlights with an audio described tour. Ideal for blind and low vision visitors. Includes Tongue of the Dog, Keriana, Te Mauri o te Iwi, Te Winika, and Whare Waka.
