A defining voice in Aotearoa’s music scene, multi-award-winning solo artist and Fur Patrol frontwoman Julia Deans returns to the stage with Goliath. Tracing her personal journey from cancer diagnosis to recovery, this powerful new album (making its full debut at the Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts) reflects on love, mortality, and resilience.

Goliath is her story: courageous, moving, and deeply human. Join us as Julia shares her reflections on her songwriting journey and experience a fearless storyteller whose “spine tingling vocals” (Metro) soar with honesty and emotion.
