The popular Transition Expo returns in 2026. The expo is for all young people (14 – 30 years) with a disability, their families, and people in the disability sector to explore what may be available to you when you leave school.

Come along and explore:

  • opportunities and advice from transition coordinators, vocational providers, and funding organisations

  • service providers in areas like advocacy, banking, education, legal, health, Work and Income and Kaikaranga (formally Taikura Trust)

  • sport, recreation, art, dance, and social opportunities.

  • small business enterprises

  • a new separate chill zone upstairs - a quiet sensory space away from all the action

  • Auckland Libraries sound space

Chat with employers to find out what they’re looking for and what employment looks like for yourself or a disabled family member.
