Great place to gather, easy parking, safe beach for games

An anonymous review

We visited to have a BBQ picnic family day at the beach. It was an easy flat contour from the car park to the restrooms and to the picnic area. The beach was visible without having to go onto the sand if difficult, and there were lots of shaded places to sit.

Do it! Great place to gather, easy parking, safe beach for games making for old school family fun.

Highlight: The stunning beach and beautifully kept park with the mature pohutukawas offering ample shade.

Elderly guests were able to see everything we were all doing, and everything we needed was close by, e.g. toilets.
