The best thing is the volunteers who run the trains

An anonymous review

There are concrete paths between the two main train rides. On the carriage side there is a board between the station and the carriage so it can be accessed easily. The trains wouldn't be accessible without these features. There are toilets available and often a sausage sizzle for purchase. There is a lot of history around the park, in the buildings and machinery. On a nice day it is really lovely.

The concrete paths are quite old and a little hard to negotiate with a wheelchair. You have to be quite strong to push it up the hill to the smaller train. Otherwise it's a very disabled-friendly place and the kids love riding the trains.

Highlight: The best thing is the volunteers who run the trains, who help when needed and don't mind if your kids want an extra ride.
