Guthrie-Smith Arboretum is a wheelchair accessible garden spread over 90 hectares in the Hawke's Bay.
Overlooking picturesque Lake Tutira, the garden is free to enter and is open to the public every Sunday in October through to the end of the May, Planted in geographical regions (New Zealand, Australia, China, Japan, Himalayas, Europe, Mexico, North America, Mediterranean and others) and linked by various walkway tracks, the Arboretum is a significant repository for many plant species and a haven for birds and native wildlife.
