This seminar is ideal for parents and carers of young people with disabilities. The seminar will cover:

  • the differences between welfare guardianship, power of attorney, property management and how a trust may be useful for managing property

  • wills and letters of wishes, and how they might be useful

  • managing and protecting assets or income of a young disabled person you care for

  • managing assets through a family trust.

The seminar will be presented by Nan Jensen, a barrister and solicitor who has been involved in the disability sector since 1998.
