After recent changes to purchasing rules for flexible disability funding, Whaikaha have now given further guidance to support our community receiving this type of funding. 

Whaikaha Ministry of Disabled People shared that the initial rules were not as detailed as was required and they understood were not communicated in the best way.

The new information includes helping our community understand the rules in some more complex areas. This includes complexities around the rules like where ride share services can be used, when items like new technology or sensory products can be funded, and where existing support people can continue.
