We would like to extend the invitation for boccia athletes to attend a regional talent ID camp in early 2024. This is an opportunity for players with international aspirations to showcase their talents and train with other motivated players.

The registration form can be found by visiting https://forms.office.com/r/CL9f7DUnnS (external link)

Three Boccia ball are stacked to form a triangle. They sit on freshly cut grass.

We have a proud history of Paralympic representation for NZ Boccia but have not been there since 2008. It's time to put us back on the world boccia map. Thus we are looking to put together national and development squads for 2024 to qualify a full team at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

Who:

Any BCl, BC2, BC3 or BC4 boccia player with ambition and a desire to improve. Or any potential players with relevant impairments including but not limited to cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and spinal injuries.

What:

  • Take part in training drills and games to show your talent.
  • Complete skill-based challenges to test your accuracy.
  • Learn about our successful past and how you could add a page of your own.
  • Have input into the culture and values of the NZ Boccia Team.
