The National Summer Games is set to make its mark on Ōtautahi Christchurch this December!

It's posted as New Zealand’s premier event for athletes with intellectual disabilities. These Games include 11 sports held across eight different venues across the city.

  • Table Tennis
  • Tenpin Bowling
  • Golf (tbc)

Over 1,350 athletes are expected to attend, alongside coaches and support people. Volunteers and spectators are welcome to come along too. 

June 2025 will see the Athlete Qualification for Tier 2 participants close.
Team registration closes in July 2025, and you can expect the initial Sports Programme to be confirmed by August 2025.
