Kapiti District Council know that Christmas can be a bit of a sensory overload for some of our tamariki. That’s why their Place and Space team, with support from our Disability Advisory Group, have organised a low-sensory Christmas celebration.
This free whanāu event will be at Lorna Irene Reserve on Sunday 3 December between 10-11.30am.
Visit with Santa and enjoy our all-abilities playground with its inclusive swing, sensory play opportunities, and wheelchair-accessible equipment, with ice creams, facepainting and sausages on the barbecue available throughout the morning. You can even take a pic with Santa!
