dsport will hold an end-of-year Christmas picnic on Sunday afternoon, December 3rd, at Avalon Park in Lower Hutt from 1-3pm. Not only is December 3rd the perfect time for a festive gathering, but it's also International Day of Persons with Disabilities—a day to celebrate.
Friends, Family, Neighbours and Rent-a-Crowd ALL WELCOME!
Avalon Park provides an ideal setting for a BYO picnic, with a range of facilities that cater to everyone.
What to Expect:
- Please BYO picnic, picnic blanket, sun block, sun hat etc.
- Sausage Sizzle: We're planning a sausage sizzle using the electric BBQs in the park.
- Avalon Park includes a playground equipped with play equipment designed for children with disabilities, ensuring a fun time for everyone; Picnic Tables; a Beginners’ Cycle Circuit; Lions Club Model Train: Experience the charm of the Lions Club model train (please note that a small charge applies).
Of course, our plans will be weather-dependent.
