Don't forget to Register for the final Federation workshop for the year, the last in their series of facilitated workshops for disabled people and their families, tāngata whaikaha Maori, Pasifika disabled and family, whanau, aiga - via Zoom.
These hui promote information exchange and sharing of personal experiences.
The sixth workshop will be held on Wednesday 29th November 12 noon till 1.30pm via Zoom, with a presentation first, followed by discussion time.
The discussion topic for November is Assistive Technology – what adaptive equipment is available to assist people who want to participate as fully as possible and have a good life? How do I know what is right for me? How can I access that equipment and what are the funding options?
This Workshop will be facilitated by Emma Brockie of Living Well Centre. Emma is one of only four registered Assistive Technology Mentors in New Zealand. Places are limited so you need to register as soon as possible.
