The library is user friendly to anyone with mobility issues. It's well laid out with various areas to sit and read, use computers, meet with friends, attend events or just a place to be social. There's easy access from the street through wide automatic doors, a generous foyer area with full access the customer services, and friendly staff who can help with general information or assist with finding books. The toilet on the ground floor is clean and easy to access and move about in. There is a lift at the rear of the library for access to the second level and a second lift for larger wheelchairs accessible by asking the friendly staff.
