There are extra high kerbs to raise bus passengers almost to the height of the bus steps. The kerbs do not damage bus tyres so bus drivers can bring their vehicles tightly alongside. There are wheelchair spaces in the bus shelters and audio read-out available on the information screens. There are also tactile pavements at each bus boarding and accessible toilets.
Would say to others: The bus service in Dunedin was already quite good for direct journeys and the hub has made it easier to transfer buses.
Top highlight: The ease of transfer between buses made our journey across the city much easier.
